After Novi's extreme behavior became too rampant the Step Father and his Mom couldn't take it and decided to give Novi up. They tried to give him up behind the entire families back so that there was no way for him to be tracked down and recovered by the family legally.

Novi's father was in a retirement home at the time slowly dying under the age of Luckily Child Services went to the retirement home and notified his father by requirement of the law since he was a living parent. Because his mother didn't want him someone had to take him, they asked everyone and no one would take him.

From there they moved to Fort Hood, Texas where she was later stationed and she married. In 2nd grade he was attacking teachers and was moved to behavioral classes in the schools. When he was put into day care centers he would run away to his house then climb on the roof to escape from Day Care Center Workers. Baby sitters were hired but after he cracked one of the baby sitters heads open on a brick wall, while seeing a therapist for all the behavior issues it was recommended he be placed in a Behavioral Institution.

He was sent to Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Texas. After a long period of good behavior and the anger issues seeming to have subsided, Novi's biological mother wanted him for a summer. Towards the end of what was recalled as a very well behaved Summer Novi had a behavior outburst. His mother called the police, he left in an Ambulance and was put into an adolescent Insane Asylum in Denver, Colorado.

His Aunt had to drive from Texas to Colorado to gain his release so he could return to Texas. After her discharge they moved back to Chicago and his Aunt and Uncle's apartment was a small 1 bedroom so he was moved to his grandmothers and started attending Park Forest Academy since mainstream schools would not accept him.
